Taylor Funeral Service
Taylor Funeral Service have been serving the community of Huddersfield for over 90 years. Founded in 1933 by Harry Taylor, the home moved to it’s present location in 1954, becoming the first residential funeral home in Huddersfield.
Manager, Tony Dalton now looks after Taylor Funeral Home and is ably assisted by Funeral Director, Darren Illingworth.

With over 60 years of experience in the profession between them, Manager, Tony and Funeral Director, Darren, understand that bereavement can be an intense and distressing time and work tirelessly to deliver a first class service based on outstanding care, genuine kindness and a focus on attention to detail. Their friendly approach, dedication to what they do and genuine care for the families they look after means that our client’s expectations are often exceeded.

Our work in the community
Throughout the year, we hold a number of family friendly community events. From our summer charity garden party, the Christmas shoe box appeal, and ladies’ nights in, to our ever popular coffee mornings, we support local community projects and good causes.
